Amice,
Zoals al even telefonisch door mevr. Voskuil aan Uw secretaresse is medegedeeld, heb ik, nadat ik de Minister aan zijn belofte had herinnerd, eerst eergisteren de stukken betreffende de visserijvoorstellen ter inzage gekregen. Ik heb daarover met de heer Kiewiet de Jonge nog even van gedachten kunnen wisselen en ben dus nu gaarne bereid om nog eens samen te komen. Het zou m.i. nu zeer goed mogelijk zijn een klein briefje aan de leden van de IIe commissie toe te zenden, waarin in het kort verslag gedaan wordt van de gang van zaken. Ik zit vandaag en morgen bijzonder vol en zou het buitengemeen op prijs stellen als de heer Jockin wellicht deze laatste taak op zich zou willen nemen. Wanneer gij dat minder geschikt acht, ben ik echter wel in staat Maandag a.s. een klein briefje te dicteren. In dat geval zou ik nog gaarne even een telefoontje ontvangen.

As already briefly communicated by telephone by Mrs. Voskuil to your secretary, after I reminded the Minister of his promise, I only received the documents regarding the fishery proposals for inspection the day before yesterday. I was able to exchange thoughts about this with Mr. Kiewiet de Jonge for a moment and am therefore now gladly prepared to meet again. In my opinion, it would now be very well possible to send a small note to the members of the Second committee, in which a short report is given of the state of affairs. I am particularly busy today and tomorrow and would extremely appreciate it if Mr. Jockin would perhaps be willing to take on this last task. If you consider that less suitable, I am however able to dictate a small note next Monday. In that case, I would still like to receive a phone call.
