Zeer geachte Heer Beerman,
Bijgaand zend ik de beloofde verklaring. Wat betreft een Amerikaans boek, waarvan U een verslag zoudt kunnen inzenden, deze vraag is minder gemakkelijk voor mij te beantwoorden; ik zou mij kunnen indenken dat U het kleine boekje van Stringfellow Barr "Let's join the human race" alsnog zoudt lezen en daarover een notitie zoudt opstellen. Daarnaast is er, zoals ik U reeds zei, de mogelijkheid te nemen Jacob Viner "A custom's union issue", dat meer in het bijzonder op het gebied van de Europese integratie is gelegen.

Enclosed I send the promised statement. As for an American book, of which you could submit a report, this question is less easy for me to answer; I could imagine that you would still read the small book by Stringfellow Barr "Let's join the human race" and prepare a note about it. In addition, as I already told you, there is the possibility of taking Jacob Viner "A custom's union issue", which is more specifically in the field of European integration.
