Dear Mr. Ludwig and Fellow Rotarian,
To my great regret, I have just been informed that the meeting of the commission that I was to chair has been postponed until June 19. This is why I would like to ask you to allow me to give my lecture on June 19 instead of June 5.
I very much regret having to disturb you once again and I apologize for it. You will understand, I hope, that it is a bit difficult for me to go to Luxembourg under these circumstances. It goes without saying that if June 19 does not suit you, I would be very happy to give my lecture on another date. It is likely that I will be in Luxembourg a few more times and I could let you know in advance regarding my next visit.

A mon grand regret je viens d'être informé que la réunion de la commissbn qu'il me faudrait prédider a été remise jusqu'au 19 juin. C'est pourquoi que je voudrais vous prier de me permettre de faire ma conférence au 19 juin au lieu qu'au 5 juin.
Je regrette beaucoup de devoir vous déranger encore une fois et je m'en excuse. Vous comprendrez, j'espère, que c'est un peu difficile de me rendre à Luxembourg dans ces circonstances. Il va sans dire que si le 19 juin ne vous convient pas, je serai très heureux de faire ma conférence à une autre date. Il est probable que je serai à Luxembourg encore quelques fois et je pourrais vous avertir d'avance en ce qui concerne ma prochaine visite.
