Mag ik om te beginnen je hartelijk danken voor de toezending van de All Bran, waarmee je ons een grote dienst hebt bewezen. Zou je nog even willen schrijven welke kosten je in totaal hebt gemaakt??
Verder zou ik je graag een inlichting vragen over dr Walter P. Schuck, die in jullie gebouw blijkt te zetelen in kamer 301. De heer Schuck wil commentaar hebben op een memorandum en ik begrijp dat hij eigenlijk wel enig werk van ons verwacht. Daartegen heb ik niet het minste bezwaar wanneer je mij zou kunnen aanbevelen dit te doen. Bij voorbaat hartelijk dank voor een kleine aanwijzing in deze.

May I begin by thanking you cordially for sending the All Bran, with which you have done us a great service. Would you mind writing down what costs you have incurred in total??
Furthermore, I would like to ask you for some information about Dr. Walter P. Schuck, who appears to be located in room 301 in your building. Mr. Schuck wants comments on a memorandum and I understand that he actually expects some work from us. I have not the slightest objection to this if you could recommend that I do so. Thank you very much in advance for a small indication in this matter.
