Mijne Heren,
Hierbij verzoek ik U een onderzoek te willen organiseren bij de afdeling Balanced International Growth naar de mogelijkheden om in ontwikkelingslanden een progressieve belasting op het grondbezit in te stellen waarvan, naar het mij schijnt, de uitwerking gunstig zou kunnen worden genoemd.
Het bedrag van de Nobelprijs zou ik ter beschikking van het Instituut willen stellen, opdat een dergelijk onderzoek zou kunnen worden ondernomen.

I hereby request you to organize a study at the Balanced International Growth department into the possibilities of introducing a progressive tax on land ownership in developing countries, the effect of which, it seems to me, could be called favorable.
I would like to make the amount of the Nobel Prize available to the Institute, so that such a study could be undertaken.
