Amice,
Mede namens de Noord-Hollandsche Uitgeversmaatschappij stel ik U gaarne op de hoogte van de plannen t.a.v. de serie "Contributions to Economics", waaraan gij Uwe medewerking hebt toegezegd. Het is de bedoeling dat er in Maart enkele van de deeltjes verschijnen en de uitgever zou gaarne in September 1952 eveneens drie der voorgestelde publicaties doen verschijnen. Zoals reeds werd uiteengezet is een dergelijke serie van betrekkelijk kleine geschriften alleen economisch te exploiteren, indien er enige tegelijk verschijnen. In verband daarmede zou de uitgever het bijzonder op prijs stellen wanneer Uw manuscript eventueel in Juni van het volgende jaar gereed zou kunnen zijn. Ik deel U dit mede, omdat U wellicht bij het indelen van Uw tijd met deze wens rekening kan of zal willen houden.

Also on behalf of the North-Holland Publishing Company, I would like to inform you of the plans regarding the series "Contributions to Economics", to which you have pledged your cooperation. It is the intention that some of the volumes will appear in March and the publisher would also like to have three of the proposed publications appear in September 1952. As has already been explained, such a series of relatively small writings can only be exploited economically if several appear at the same time. In this connection, the publisher would particularly appreciate it if your manuscript could possibly be ready in June of next year. I am informing you of this because you may be able or willing to take this wish into account when planning your time.
