De Commissie "Afbetaling" 1e v.d. Boschstraat 15, 's-Gravenhage.

The "Installment" Committee 1e v.d. Boschstraat 15, The Hague.
For the attention of Mr. de Bruin.
In the hope that it is not altogether too late, I can now inform you that I have tracked down the indeed important study on "Factors affecting the demand for consumer's installment credit" conducted by Mr. A. Gissenkoff. However, it was written on behalf of the National Bureau of Economic Research, Broadway 1819, New York City. The copy of the aforementioned study that I possess is unfortunately "confidential and preliminary", but I would think that, if the aforementioned Bureau is written to, permission might perhaps be obtained to view [the] report, while it may perhaps have already appeared in the meantime.
The Director,
(J. Tinbergen)
