Beste Wim,
Ik ga voor een dag of vijf de stad uit en zal je nog zoveel mogelijk drukproeven toezenden; aan de aard van de verbeteringen, die ik in de vorige vellen heb aangebracht, zal je wel zien wat voor kleine bijwerkingen naar mijn mening af en toe nog nodig zijn, doch ik zou je willen vragen om de afwerking niet te laten wachten op mijn proeven, anders zou je met je programma in moeilijkheden komen.

I am going out of town for about five days and will send you as many galley proofs as possible; from the nature of the corrections I have made in the previous sheets, you will see what small adjustments, in my opinion, are still needed from time to time, but I would like to ask you not to let the finishing wait for my proofs, otherwise you might run into difficulties with your schedule.
