My dear Frisch,
Thank you very much for the kind and useful message transmitted to me by Mr Vreede. Of course, I would not be a good econometrist if I would not do what you think useful. The difficulty only is that your own example makes me doubt a little bit what exactly you mean by "working too hard": I am still thinking of Oslo in terms of papers written overnight, dictaphones and very weighty papers ! I still have to thank you for the one I got quite recently and which, I may admit, I have not had the courage yet to look in. There are also other pictures from Norway which I don't forget: particularly the hills and the lake in the neighbourhood of your bee laboratory. Might you see one of these weeks Mr Nikolaussen and his family, please, give him my best regards. Of course, the same applies to Mrs Frisch and your daughter and , finally , to my colleagues at your Institute.
