Dear Mrs Myrdal,
May I introduce to you Dr H.M.J. HART whom I know already a long time as a colleague in statistical administration and statistical research. For a long time Dr Hart was the head of the Central Statistical Office of the Netherlands Indies, later of Indonesia. Since 1949 Mr Hart participated in many activities on behalf of technical aid to underdeveloped countries. I would be grateful for any attention you could give to him during his visit to UNESCO.
