Beste Barend,

Dear Barend,
In my last official note, I actually forgot to reply to your own letter of March 23, which I was happy with, because I hadn't heard from you in a long time. I hope that in the meantime you have learned to view your worries as a seasonal phenomenon. I mean, that they, like the electricity curve, but perhaps in the opposite sense, must show daily fluctuations: only thinking about them during working hours and not after that. In the meantime, it is certainly an idea to do something else for a short time, but perhaps that is more pleasant in a state in which you have fully recovered. Then you will also get more out of it. My doctor recommended to me at the time not to go away even "for pleasure" before I had first found my rhythm again in my normal routine. It goes without saying, of course, that if you ever want to talk, you are always welcome. I just wanted to confirm this last point, although you could have understood it.
With warm regards,
