Zeer geachte Heer Enters,
Tot mijn spijt zal ik a.s. Woensdag op de "Statistiekdag", tegen mijn aanvankelijk voornemen in, niet aanwezig kunnen zijn, daar die dag de Raad voor de Economische Aangelegenheden met de Ministerraad de gehele dag vergadert. Ik verzoek U in verband daarmede mijn opgave voor de gemeenschappelijke koffietafel ook te laten schrappen.
Van harte hoop ik, dat de ook door mij gewenste fusie tot stand komt en dat de dag ook verder een succes moge zijn !

Dear Mr. Enters,
To my regret, I will not be able to be present this coming Wednesday at the "Statistics Day", contrary to my initial intention, as the Council for Economic Affairs will be meeting with the Council of Ministers all day on that day. In connection with this, I request that you also cancel my registration for the communal coffee table.
I sincerely hope that the merger, which I also desire, will be realized and that the day may otherwise be a success!
