In reply to your letter of November 9 concerning Mr C.A.CANNEGIETER I am sorry to inform you that personally I know very little about his teaching capacities and his knowledge of political science. I only know that he made some good but modest memorandums on related subjects; this office is primarily an economic research institute. Upon my request I have, however, been informed by my colleague Prof. Ch. H. van Os from the Technical School of Delft that he would recommend Mr Cannegieter as a teacher and from dr Suys of the University of Amsterdam that mr Cannegieter wrote a thesis of fairly good quality on a subject of political science. The thesis has not yet, however, been finished. I hope that these informations may be of some use to you.
