Dear Sir,
The Rector Magnificus of the Netherlands School of Economics asked me to inform you that Dr Tjalling Koopmans was indeed a lecturer at the Netherlands School of Economics from 1936-1938. I may add that he gave my courses during the time I spent at the League of Nations' Secretariat as an expert during that same period. It could unfortunately, not be verified by the administration of the Netherlands School of Economics what the birth-date of Mr Koopmans is. May I personally suggest that your Embassy communicate by telephone with municipal secretariat of 's Graveland. They will no doubt be able to inform you.
