Thank you very much for the photograph which is an attractive souvenir to my pleasant visit to your family and home. I hope Mrs Morgenstern and your son are well and, please, give them my best regards.
Thank you also for announcing the new book. I shall be glad to let you have a copy of Theil's book upon its publication. Recently we discussed Mr Whitin's article. I think the article is very stimulating but I wonder whether the appendix is relevant to the main argument. May be that Mr Whitin would be willing to give some clarification. Anyhow it is very important that Prof. Graham's work is discussed anew.
