In antwoord op Uw brief van 27 October deel ik U mede dat ik mij gaarne voor mijn reis naar India zou verzekeren voor een bedrag van f 100 000.- bij overlijden of blijvende invaliditeit. Intussen moet ik er U op attent maken dat door mij niet is medegedeeld dat het vliegen geschiedt op een geregelde lijn van de Indian National Airlines, althans in die zin dat een speciaal vliegtuig is gecharterd van die maatschappij om ons langs de gebruikelijke route, maar niet volgens de gebruikelijke dienstregeling, te vervoeren. Dit geldt voor de heenreis. De terugreis geschiedt op de normale wijze.

In response to your letter of 27 October, I inform you that I would like to insure myself for my trip to India for an amount of f 100,000.- in the event of death or permanent disability. In the meantime, I must point out to you that I have not mentioned that the flight takes place on a regular line of Indian National Airlines, at least in the sense that a special aircraft has been chartered from that company to transport us along the usual route, but not according to the usual schedule. This applies to the outbound journey. The return journey takes place in the normal way.
