Beste Stuvel,
Mag ik je om te beginnen hartelijk bedanken voor de toezending van je hoogst nuttige publicatie, waarvan ik nog vaak gebruik hoop te maken? Daarnaast had ik een klein verzoek aan je waar niet de minste haast bij is. In de Orangerie (ik bedoel het kleine museum aan het eind van de Tuilerieën) is op het ogenblik een klein boekje verkrijgbaar met reproducties van SISLEY à 180 frs. Ik zou het bijzonder op prijs stellen als je mij t.g.t. daarvan een exemplaar zou willen toezenden. Kan ik de kosten op een Hollandse girorekening overmaken of heb je het liever in Franse francs? Bij voorbaat hartelijke dank!

May I begin by thanking you heartily for sending your highly useful publication, which I hope to make frequent use of? In addition, I had a small request for you which is not in the least bit urgent. In the Orangerie (I mean the small museum at the end of the Tuileries) there is currently a small book available with reproductions of SISLEY at 180 frs. I would particularly appreciate it if you would send me a copy of it in due course. Can I transfer the costs to a Dutch giro account or would you prefer it in French francs? Thank you very much in advance!
