Waarde Ringers,
Hartelijk dank voor je vriendelijke briefje. Door een cumulatie van andere werkzaamheden kon ik ettelijke keren niet op de lunch komen. Tien dagen geleden ben ik wel op de Rotary-lunch in Luxemburg geweest. Daar ik pas 10 September vertrek hoop ik voor die tijd nogeens gelegenheid te hebben je te ontmoeten. Ook deze week is het echter niet zeker dat ik in staat ben te komen.

Thank you very much for your kind note. Due to an accumulation of other activities, I was unable to attend the lunch several times. Ten days ago, I did attend the Rotary lunch in Luxembourg. Since I do not leave until September 10, I hope to have another opportunity to meet you before then. This week, however, it is not certain that I will be able to come.
