Beste Koos,
Mijn oordeel over KARREMAN is, dat hij een toegewijd werker is met veel belangstelling voor de vraagstukken die hij behandelt. Hij heeft de neiging om de dingen nogal gedetailleerd te bekijken, waarin hij, althans voor zijn vertrek naar Amerika, wel enige leiding nodig had. Hij heeft, omdat hij zelf voelde nog enige nadere econometrische scholing te behoeven, de reis naar Amerika ondernomen en ik mag dus hopen, dat hij in dit opzicht inmiddels gegroeid is. Hij was altijd een heel pleizierig lid van ons team en ik kan hem dus ook gaarne aanbevelen voor het normale research-werk.

Dear Koos,
My opinion of KARREMAN is that he is a dedicated worker with a lot of interest in the issues he handles. He has a tendency to look at things in quite some detail, for which he, at least before his departure for America, did need some guidance. Because he himself felt he needed some further econometric training, he undertook the trip to America and I may therefore hope that he has grown in this respect in the meantime. He was always a very pleasant member of our team and I can therefore also gladly recommend him for normal research work.
