Dr Mohan Sinha L'ehta,
High Commissioner for India,
K a r a c h 1.
Dear Dr Mehta,
Shortly after having v/ri tten my previous letter
to you I detected that T had nr'sunderstood your position in
Karachi. Please, accept my excuses for the error committed.
Thank you very much for your kind letter of December 15 and
for your Invitation, unfortunately my plans had to be changed
a little bit and for several reasons I preferred to go back
by the special plane chartered for the conference on Decem.ber 22
£Tom Bombay. Although very grateful for your invitation T could
not therefore accept it, which you vn'll, T hope, understand.
The days spent on our way from New Delhi to Calcutta and in
Calcutta and Bombay only reinforced the impressions of which
T wrote you. I was most grateful for this visit to your country.
IMM-'- ö°P^"g ^^^^ another opportunity will present itself to
•^ff' you again,
T am,
Yours v<^ry sincerely,
Part of Letter to Mohan Sinha Mehta
