I herewith declare that Mr J. Hoogerwerf passed
his first two examinations, of which the latter is comparable with a Bachelor degree, with the Netherlands
School of Economics at Rotterdam. His marks were satisfactory to good. Since closer individual contacts with
the professors usually start after this second examination,
I am \infortunately not able to add a personal judgement
on Mr Hoogerwerf's capacities. I should appreciate, however, your considering him as a serious candidate for a
fellowship with your university.
