your attention upon and recommend the following persons for
the vacancy in your Stability Section, Stability and Development Division, Department of Economic Affairs»
1. P,ro,f,. Dr Louis Zimmerman^ formerly research economist and
statistician at the Netherlands Central Bureau of Statistics;
since 19^5 professor at the French University in Germany
(Mainz). I know Prof. Zimmerman is planning to leave Mainz
and may be available therefore.
2# M,^. Jansen, research economist and statistician with the
Economic Commission for Europe, Geneva, formerly economist
at the Central Planning Bureau, the Hague.
3. W.H. Somermever^ lawyer who specialised on statistics and
economic research, now in charge of the Statistical Bureau
of the Government of Curacao, Willemstad, Curiacao. Mr Somermeyer is a somewhat less flexible mind than the two other
gentlemen, but very intelligent and active.
