I received your book on the summation problem and
want to thank you very much for your kindness to send 1t to me. T
spent soTTïe hours w'.th it and found it very interesting. But the
stuff is not so simple and T shall have to think it over. Certainly
I feel that from the theoretical point of view you are right in
-nany respects. The question that remains to be seen is how far
practical research can and how far it cannot/cËanged, but your analysis anyhow represents a- /ery stlmlating acnroach to the
subject matter.
