Dear Dick,
In reply to yours of March 11 I arn glad to let
you know that two of my collaborators anyhow will be able
to present a i)aper at the 1955 conference, viz. Lips and
Thell. Tips would like to leal wit the question on how to
use a complete model and will make a comparison between
forecasts and realization, whereas Theil proposes to deal
with some recent attempts at Improving the evTuations for
price setting. Theil is working very hard on a new model for
the i'letherlands in which he esjjecially atterapts to use as
much micro information as possible, and it might be that he
could in addition present results for another of the
equations.
Lips will write to you himself and will probably
co-operate with Schouten
I hope these contributions will prove useful to
you and I am myself optimistic in this respect. Since there
is still quite some time available we may postpone exact
fonnulationa as to titles and contents of the papers until
the nioment aou want them definitely.
With best personal regards,
yours as ever.
