Many thanks for yours of August 15 and for
the memoranda you promised rae, I did not understand from
your former letter that you worked out the case where a
matrix of lags is given» This indeed I think I never saw "before
or elsewhere and it is certainly not in Leontief's book»
I shall decidedly try to follow this ^f&ien 1 get your
lectures,
I am also sorry that there is no chance for me
to see you at Paris on September 15 or thereabout, since
I am leaving for the ITS on September 10 and probably the
last few days will be rather busy» Otlierwise I ^ivould hav©
enjoyed such a possibility very much and I do hope that some
time after January you will pass another time or \7e will
find another opportunity. There certainly would be some
interesting topics to disoussj for my part I tried to develop
oor theory of economic policy ( if I may call tiiis otu?s) for
the case of decentralised policy (a number of countries
or a number of pressure groups), I hope to send you scane
notes on it iRfeich I am preparing in the next few weeks.
