Thank you very much for sending me by your letter of
April 11 a copy of Prof. Tintner's inportant book on econooetrics,
I just finished reading it and writing a book review for the
international journal KÏKLOS. My main Impression of the book
is that it is an excellent survey of mathematico-statistical
methods of very great use to more advanced students. Although
I think that the didactic qualities fcr such countries as
Central Eunieanones could have been better and the book could
have been illustrated with some more graphical material, I nevertheless do think that it fills a gap and will have a great success.
I sent a copy of my review straight to Prof. Tintner since it is
in German.
