May I first of all thank you for sending
me some copies of Congressman Celler's Bill ? As you
will remember he made a great impression on me and I am
glad to have the documents.
Having read in the newspaper that you plan
to leave the Netherlands, but not knowing in what stage of
execution your plans are, I should like to express my
sincere gratitude for all the kindness and interest experienced from you. You may be sure that, although we
Dutch are not accustomed to express our feelings, profound
feelings of admiration and friendship for the USA and those
who represent your country do exist.
