Dear Professor Strotz,
The article you sent me hy yotr letter of
Decemoer 16 appears to he of a raatheraatical-statistical nature. Since I am only superficially
acquainted vith these subjects I wonder whether
you had not better send it to an expert in this
field, I could ask, if you want me to do so, my
colleague, Mr Hartog at the Rotterdam School of
Economics, to referee, hut I would not do so v/ithout
yoiarconeent. Please, let iae know whether you want
me to do so or to send jfsste the article hack to
yourself. For your convenience I may add that the
last ten years I concentrated on questions of mathem~
atical-econoraics rather than mathematical-statistics,
and that my duties in this respect were taken over
hy Mr Hartog.
